Man is a social being, he cannot live alone. But in the
society he cannot do anything according to his sweet will. As a member of the
society he is bound to abide by the rules and regulations of the society. This
obedience to social rules is discipline.
Discipline is must in society. It is imperative in the life
of soldiers. In schools and collages discipline is of the highest importance.
In every walk of human life discipline is and imperative necessity absence of
discipline means chaos and confusion. No work can be done where there is no
discipline and where chaos and confusion prevail.
Our schools and colleges are the training centers of
discipline. If any student participates in activities subversive of the
discipline of his educational institution, he can never expect to do well. The
man who does not care to abide by the laws of the arm can never be a good
soldier. For the defense of his country he can never be relied upon.
Discipline is divine virtue. In the creation of God discipline
prevails everywhere. The sun and the moon, the planets and the stars move in
their orbits in accordance with some laws. Everything in nature proves that God
is the Supreme Disciplinarian.
Unity, faith and discipline are the three pillars upon which
human life stands. The prophet of Islam laid special stress on discipline.
Every Muslim is bound to live a discipline life. He who does not observe discipline
deviate from the path of Islam.
